I've been working on the "dummy book" for Matchstick Fallout, the rough draft to establish the layout and rhythm of the final comic. This comic has a lot of silent panels that work like rests in music, and thus ends all that I know about music theory. Chris Ware has compared the composition of comics to music multiple times, so I picked up a book on music theory and was in tears by the third page. I hopefully picked up enough to make a satisfying rhythm in this book.
The architecture is based on the Davenport Hotel in Spokane, WA, and is a lot of fun to draw.
